The rehabcentre® is an acute rehabilitation program housed within San Pedro Peninsula Hospital. It provides inpatient services for those who have experienced stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, multiple trauma, neurological illnesses such as Guillian-Barre syndrome, or post-operative orthopedic surgeries. Candidates for the program must be at least 15 years of age and able to tolerate an intensive therapy schedule.

Our dedicated team of professionals is led by a medical director who is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation. The team includes psychologists, occupational therapists and physical therapists, recreation therapists, rehabilitation nurses, social workers, and speech/language pathologists. The rehabcentre® involves the patient and family in establishing goals and encourages family participation in treatment sessions.
