Gynecology: Women's health issues have always been a priority for our Women's and Children's Health departments. The departments offer a variety of services and classes geared toward women's health.

Women's Center: Little Company of Mary believes that  health care should not become another juggling act in your busy life. With this in mind, the Little Company of Mary Women's Wellness Center  (a new model of health care addressing all of a woman's outpatient health care needs) opened in 2000 at the Little Company of Mary Outpatient Care Center in Redondo Beach (on the Beach Cities Health District campus).

Diagnostic Services: Mammography and ultrasound are two very important diagnostic tools used in the detection of disease. Our affiliated diagnostic centers, located at Little Company of Mary Outpatient Care Centers in Torrance, San Pedro and Redondo Beach, offer these and other outpatient diagnostic imaging services in one convenient location. Ask your physician about accessing these services.

Education: Classes to educate the community on issues of women's and children's health are abundant. Breast self-exam classes, childbirth preparation, baby care basics and infant/child CPR are just a few of the educational opportunities available through the Community Services department. Sister Nancy Boyle Community Resource Center: Located in the Del E. Webb Memorial Center for Health Education at Little Company of Mary Hospital - Torrance, the resource center contains a collection of books, videos and brochures covering many health-related topics. Many of the books and videos can be checked out for a seven-day period. The Community Resource Center also provides visitors with Internet access to professional medical journals and other resource materials.
