Tipper Gore, the wife of former Vice President of the United States Al Gore, will be the keynote speaker at Little Company of Mary Hospital Foundation's "Day of Women's Wellness" event in 2002.
The fourth annual "Day of Women's Wellness" will be held March 15, 2002 at the Torrance Marriott Hotel in Torrance. The event is a full-day conference and luncheon that focuses on promoting the health and well being of women. Proceeds from the conference benefit Little Company of Mary's "Sexual Assault Response Team (SART)," which provides compassionate and comprehensive care and treatment for sexual assault victims.
