| Patient Express Provides Free Transportation to Little Company of Mary facilities |

Little Company of Mary has extended its Patient Express program, which provides free curb-to-curb van service for South Bay residents who have difficulty obtaining their own transportation when they need to see a physician.
Patient Express� vans are wheelchair-accessible and provide service for residents of Carson, Lomita, Harbor City, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, San Pedro, Torrance, Wilmington and the Palos Verdes Peninsula.
�There are many South Bay residents who would need to make an appointment to see a physician, but they never do because they have no transportation to get to a doctor�s office or hospital,� said John Formica, Patient Express Team Leader. �Our service provides them with a shuttle service at no charge.�
Patients being discharged from either Little Company of Mary Hospital or San Pedro Peninsula Hospital can also receive a ride home on one of the vans for a nominal fee.
The vans provides service to all of Little Company of Mary�s 30 health care sites, as well as to doctors� offices if the physician is a member of the Little Company of Mary staff.
