![]() The mission of Little Company of Mary Community Health Foundation's Junior Philanthropy group is to involve local community children in fundraising and community service activities that promote the well-being of less fortunate children in our communities by raising young people's awareness of the importance of philanthropy. Kids on a Mission strives to make a permanent positive difference in children's lives both those who give and those who receive. Children and parents participate in craft activities, fundraising projects and fun! If we can teach the youth of America to help each other at such a young age…imagine what they will do for each other when they become teenagers and adults. After all, the youth of today is America’s future tomorrow. Grades 1 through 8, accompanied by a parent, meet the fourth Thursday of each month at Little Company of Mary Hospital, Center for Health Education. Fundraising activities include Summer Reading Program for the Pediatric Clinic, Trick-or-Treat for the NICU, and Holiday Card art program.
